I wrote 993 words across two projects, including this opening for chapter 20 of Soldier’s Heart (James Vega x Jane Shepard). Had friends over for pasta and Dungeons and Dragons on Sunday. Today is an unpaid federal holiday for me: We all needed a day off, but losing a day’s pay always makes things harder.
