Need to get some words in? The Weekend Writing Marathon (WWM) is a writing challenge designed to help you do just that. You set your own writing goal for the weekend and work to achieve it before reporting back to the group on Sunday night.

 

How do I participate?

1. Reply to this post with your weekend writing plans–be as specific (or not) as you’d like.

2. Start writing on Friday 12:01 am local time. Work to meet your goal by Sunday night at 11:59 pm local time. You can work on whatever you want during this time.

3. Post your accomplishments to the Finish Line post at the end of the weekend (even if you didn’t reach your goal).

 

How do I report my accomplishments?

A Finish Line post will go up on Sunday. Reblog that post with your final word count/accomplished goal(s) by Monday at midnight local time. Totals from the weekend will be posted on Tuesday.

Trying to finish my Chocolate Box fic.

Yes! That's the goal right there! Weekends are the hardest for me to find time to write. I need to get these fingers to my keyboard or scribble down some words in my notebook.
I'd love 2k.
I'd love to finish Chapter 2/4 of my WIP.
I'd love to finish outlining aforementioned fic (omg I forgot to do that).
I'd love it if Infinity War was just a bad dream.
These are probably not my reality.

Uh. I'd like to work on my fic that was due back in November (oops) and start work on a fic that's "due" (no sign-up, but you get...some prize, I think) on Feb 14th.

New words on DA or ME fan fic, and/or read through my wip novel and see if it can be inspiration for a short story for a sci-fi/fantasy magazine contest. I want to be excited for it, but I'm just tired and frustrated.
